Good bowls this year
Looks like BYU, SEC, and 3 ACC schools in our bowls.

Not too shabby!

The big thing is that they are all very WINNABLE BOWLS against P5 teams. I can honestly seeing us sweeping our bowls or losing only one.

Some really good matchups. I hope we don't fall on our face.

Good luck to all the teams! Make us proud.

Agree---technically--no G5 opponents. That's incredible. I would have never guessed we could pull that off. It wont be like this every year---but this is an awesome line up of post season opponents for a G5 conference.

If we win out, regardless of the Access Bowl, we will stand atop the G5 heap.

I think it is very clear that the American had the best bowl lineup outside of the power five. Outside of Boise State the Mountain West only decent name opponents are Navy and Utah.

The American plays Florida, Virginia Tech, Pitt, NC State, and BYU. Forget the records, those are type of bowl opponents anybody would have signed up for at the start of the season.

This is going to sound surprising... I think ESPN is actually accommodating the AAC with bowl scheduling... I mean, no Navy in the league yet, no G4 opponent, better than old Big East ESPN tv exposure, and no more basketball only schools to deal with.

Exposing the AAC by our Network (ESPN) is what is going on here.

I would rather play the best of the G5 than a bunch of P5 that were all 10th or lower in their conference. Give me Colorado State, Northern Illinois, Air Force, Marshall, or Utah State(or Boise, but they got a good game) over anyone the AAC is playing.
