There are only a few sections in the outfield toward the 1st base line that are used as end zone seats. They're actually not far from the the back of the end zone. But overall, it is simply NOT a good venue for football. I would much rather they move the game to Raymond James Stadium across the bay, but that's not going to happen.

But, it's a good match-up, and its just one game, so I can deal with it. I'll be interested to hear from the Memphis fans what they think about watching a game in Marlins Park.

If its an 80 degree sunny afternoon (roof open), while its cold in Memphis...I'm sure most Memphis fans will be pleased...VERY pleased, regardless of a baseball stadium set up (Tiger fans are thankful for any bowl game...as they haven't gone to one in 6 years).

I suppose the phrase "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" would be in order for either team. We could both have had years that would not have allowed us to get into a bowl.

More practice for the men is always a good thing. I just hope the younger kids are getting reps as well since we are losing 21 seniors.

I additionally am concerned next year is going to a down year.
