Congrats! I really thought ECU would win the championship but somehow managed to muck it up. Still your team had a good first season in the AAC. It really was a pleasure to beat you in the final game although I didn't find out for 2 days afterward because I turned the game off with seconds left and didn't watch any sports. Now hopefully your team takes it's anger out on Florida. Good luck! 04-rock

Please, make it so.

...um, ECU's coaches beat ECU. But we'll still try to put the Gators down for you anyway. Please do the same to the Wolfpeckers.

Their O line is massive! 04-jawdrop

You don't have to worry about Florida's Oline they'll block themselves.

03-lmfao this is true!

They probably needed some competition

We'll be taking six down. The date is probably the best we could have asked for.

This will be a preview of the September game in Gainesville for ECU. This is a great matchup.

Also is Birmingham is an easy trip, would have much preferred a warmer locale but this will do.

RE: East Carolina to Birmingham vs. Florida
What scares me about this game could be our mental state after the UCF loss. Do we have a hangover?

That said, there is enough juiciness in the match though...

We play SEC
We play @ Florida for OOC in 2015
Florida's whole coaching thing
*ECU being a former conference mate of UAB and playing a bowl in their stadium. I doubt now that we are in the AAC any #freeuab stuff would come up but who knows.

There won't be any hangover from UCF. If we had a lesser named opponent I think we'd have to worry about it. Our guys will be up for a chance to beat a blue blood from the SEC. It will be a re-run of the UCF match up though. Offense vs Defense. Lets just hope Ruff and co. practice their clock management over the next month.

Which conference supplies the refs? I think SEC refs have as many victories against the Pirates as SEC teams do...

where it is a 5th down, Alabama!
