Was Ohio State really a more viable selection than the Big 12 co-champs? Was it right to drop TCU three spots for beating Iowa State? Was it right that Baylor was ranked behind the Horned Frogs team they beat head-to-head? Here is my look at the case for the three teams...

Was it right? It doesn't matter. The Big 12 did it to themselves. They made it easier for the committee to pick Ohio State rather than making the hard decision for the Big 12 that the Big 12 didn't want to make themselves.

Man up Big 12 and maybe Baylor would have gotten the nod.

It would have been right for Baylor to play TCU for the outright Big XII championship. Looks like we already have a P4 model.

Ohio State was only more viable selection because of their name and BIG 10 branding. TCU and Baylor would roast the Nuts on a national stage.
