I spend a lot of time on both and most threads on the Sun Belt board that I post in are about CUSA or even(gasp!) contain CUSA in the subject line like this one did

I was a Sun Belt fan for a decade and moderated this board for more than a year, I'm really not sure what point you're driving at friend.

What point? I have a tab for both boards and ESPN and BRZ and cfb data warehouse most of the time.

Where did you get the attendance averages?

I haven't gone back and looked, but I could have SWORE that the stAte game dropped us below 20k in average attendance.

I think its tickets sold. The average was a little over 19,000, but I think the AD changed it to tickets sold to make it look better for bowl season.

C-USA has taken a hit because of the loss of programs like ECU, Houston and others. Of course, they should gain over time by not having to report the likes of Tulane.

Anyone want to run the Sun Belt numbers for conference games only?

This would be more indicative of fan support as out of conference home games with schools such as Miss St will obviously skew the numbers.

What would you be doing to determine a weighted average? I can see total attendance and average attendance based on the number of home games. How were you going to determine the weighted average except use the number of home games, which is just the same as a straight average it would seem.

Many laughs here. Idaho and NMSU at 12k? In an FBS conference? Yes I know they have a dome - so does 'cuse. SBC...wake up!

In other words, I gave an average of the team averages instead of averaging the attendance of every game played in a CUSA stadium.

TXST changed the UAPB attendance after it was first announced. it's waht NCAA used.
