The 12 CFP teams
While the specific bowls are in question, I think we can actually say with a pretty good certainty the 11 of the 12 teams that will be in the CFP bowls tomorrow.

Using last weeks committee rankings:
1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. TCU
4. Florida State
5. Ohio State
6. Baylor
8. Michigan State
10. Mississippi State
11. Georgia Tech (will fall below this ranking, but will be in Orange Bowl in place of Florida State)
12. Ole Miss
22. Boise State

That's 11 of the spots. The teams that lost in the top 12 (outside Georgia Tech) were: #7 Arizona and #9 Kansas State. #13 Wisconsin also lost while #14 Georgia and #15 UCLA did not play. My guess is that Arizona gets the last spot.

That could easily be the final 11 and Arizona for the 12th makes a lot of sense. My vote for the 12th would be Kansas State though. Their losses were to two top six teams and Auburn.

I agree with this. But I'm guessing it comes down to TV ratings/money. So... Georgia?

The Big Ten "bowl invite bubble watch" teams would probably like it to be Kansas State, to open the wiggle room in unfilled Big12 bowls that O(k)SU narrowed down.

I wouldn't think Georgia would get a spot based on their loss to Georgia Tech, but who knows. I'd bet though that if TCU is dropped from the top four then Kansas State would get into the NY6.

That's one I thought of too. I don't think the committee will work like that, but politically it might be smart to throw the Big 12 a bone if they lose out (which I'm not predicting, but I'm not sure).
