About the only thing that won't have much drama tomorrow is Boise's selection.
Congrats broncos.

Nice to get back to the Fiesta Bowl. Glad to have an auto-bid for the G5 in this new era. Having 2 losses and still get to go to a major bowl. Thanks P5!

Congrats broncos.
I bet the committee is relieved about that. That would have taken longer than the top 4.

G5 Champs! And literally a year to the day that Coach Pete left and our program was supposed to descend to irrelevance!

The MWC was the best G5 conference this year, at least before bowl season.

Correction...it not so much the G5 Champion...it is as we seen how they ranked them the AAC/MWC Champion....the "Alliance" even though most don't realize it...UCF, Memphis one more win and it would have been interesting....

It more like the shared AAC/MWC Champion...with the way they ranked the other G5 leagues IMO that became very apparent.

RE: Comgratulations Boise, G5 Champions
I have to admit that Boise State surprised me this year, but I agree there are the best of the G5 and deserve the Access Bowl.
Although I'm a fan of playing for conference championships on the field, I recognize that wasn't possible under current rules for the AAC. All three of their co-champions were solid performers and would be a tough out for anyone in their bowl games. (That CCG issue will not be an issue next year when Navy joins up).
Both Marshall and NIU took care of business and ended up as true conference champs in their respective leagues with outstanding records.
The only real surprise (and a pleasant one, I'd say) with G5 conference champions was Georgia Southern winning the SunBelt. But they had an outstanding season. It's really too bad they won't go bowling, but the rules are pretty clear. Nevertheless, I think their on-field performance demonstrates they are going to be a factor for a long while in the Sun Belt.
Congratulations to all of our G5 champions!

Not so sure about that. I would like to see where C-USA champ Marshall and MAC champ NIU compare to the three AAC co-champs. None will be in the top 25 so we will never know for sure, but I bet the committee has them all evaluated very closely. Had Boise lost last night, I am not at all sure who among those the committee would have chosen for the Access spot.

Congrats Boise. Heck of a season. Tip of the cap to Memphis. Hell of a turn around this season.

Heck, I didn't even know that NIU and Marshall traded conferences. But I'm always the last to know.

Boise winning helped the G5. With no strong candidates this year, at least Boise has the name recognition on a national level. Had a school such as Colorado St won, it would have looked bad and hurt the G5's credibility.

Thanks from a Memphis Fan. By the way, this wasn't the turn around season this is the beginning of something that started 3 years ago. Hired a great coach and started investing in FB.
