Coach states this is one reason why the team loss it's edge and lead to SFA.

Sit your most involved and intuned player the rest of the half to get his attention for psyching himself up to compete at high level.

Coach would make a terrible viking leader as they invented the technique ( viking berserker) which created fear in the opposition.

Should woofing carry such high discipline?

The '08 team would've never had players like Joey Dorsey available for long with principles like that.

K.Love wouldn't have minded though....

Tough call.....don't know about comparing the two eras! I love that team and to me, I think that team is possibly the gr8est college bb team ever! That being said, this is a different era....right now, this is Josh's era, it's how he wants things run around him....it's going to be a different process of building a clean establishment, but that's what he demands....if we say it's not needed, I think that means we're willing to turn our heads/backs to a situation that needs some attention and someone to address. .....if we go to public places and hear our youth spewing incindiary garbage, and don't cringe, or feel the need to address them, or ask why they talk that way....then we are part of the demise.

I am thankful that we have Josh for this reason.....and really appreciate his attention to this.....just wish his attention to detail matches this same ferocity from the finer points of coaching/development before it bits him in the butt.....and players don't rebel. .....jmo

So now posting an actual thread inquiring about the team is a no no.

Have fun with this team. The touchy feely stuff is for those who like to believe all is well..

Yep. Smiling offsets his infractions I guess.

What gets me with shaq is he woofs too much for plays he didn't even do. Nichols locks a shot and shaq goes berserk as if he did it..
