RE: 4 playoff teams...who ya got?
The one thing that benefits Ohio State is that Alabama's offensive line isn't the same as it was in the past. They aren't (or shouldn't be, anyway) going to line up and ram it down OSU's throat.
OSU does have some weapons on the outside that could hurt Alabama's secondary.
That being said, I'll take Alabama by a comfortable margin.

RE: 4 playoff teams...who ya got?
Saban's squad has too much for the Buckeyes, IMO. If you go back and look at Urban's UF teams when facing equal talent in conference you see an appreciable downturn in output. It's so hard to gauge his teams b/c they can make ppl look foolish (looking at you Wisky), however that's a 1 dimensional team with far inferior talent.
OSU is too green for a polished Bama squad. Yes, their D isn't as dominating as previous years. I agree with that. Also, their OL isn't dominating either. However, let's be clear....OSU hasn't seen anyone on their level this year. Bama has been facing teams with talent close to them ALL year.
Finally, Saban simply dominates Urban. UF beat Bama once, however from that L on its been 2 dominating victories for him over Urban.
Vegas line opens at -9.5 Bama. I'm thinking it's a double digit game. Would be totally shocked if OSU won...and won big at that....as someone said in this thread. Wouldn't be shocked at all if Bama dominates. Hard ask for a newbie QB to navigate a Kirby Smart/ Saban D in his 2nd ever start.
