Hard to believe Cardale Jones is the third string QB.

Haha. You would have to think at least one of these three quarterbacks are going to transfer. The job is JT's, so Cardale and Braxton will never start again unless Barrett is injured in the future.

Braxton will transfer. There is no way in hell he gets playing time now. Cardale is a sophomore and Barrett is a freshman. The future of Ohio State is solid with them. Braxton is unnecessary at this point, as crazy as that is.

He needs to go pull a Russell Wilson somewhere.

Agreed.

Question is, what schools that might contend next year need a QB? Obviously a lot of teams will graduate their QB or have them go to the NFL, but they would have to not be confident in their QB-in-waiting to take a flyer on Braxton for one year. That said, I'm sure he will have some attractive options.

As we've seen with OSU, if you play a run-pass QB, injuries are going to be an issue. And some schools are going to think they will benefit from being able to red shirt a QB.

I wouldn't be shocked if Butch Jones at UT got on the phone.
