Not true, your conference doesn't play in FBS, at any rate no one is suggesting that the AAC was not in play for the access bowl without a CCG.
ohio state didnt get in because they won a conference championship game. they got in because they thumped a pretty good wisconsin team and the selection committee liked them over tcu
Eh...Wisconsin was better than Iowa State, but I don't know that I'd go so far as to call them "pretty good", they were the best team in a bad Big Ten west. When comparing the two conferences today, Jesse Palmer said Oklahoma State would win that division.
Jesse Palmer thought that 'The Bachelor' was a good idea. Your argument is invalid.
I don't need Jesse Palmer to tell me the Big Ten is bad, just using him as a reference and his appearance on a reality dating show a decade ago has no bearing on his football knowledge.
How's this Wisconsin, lost to the 6th best team in the SEC by 14, they also lost to Northwestern. Oh and that 2-9 Iowa State team that TCU throttled, one of their two wins was Iowa, who Wisconsin managed to beat by 2 points.
tOSU and Michigan State are pretty good teams, the rest of the B1G would be middle of the pack, at best, in the SEC, Big XII or Pac 12.

I also have a rudimentary math education and - because of that - an understanding of the transitive property.
Your argument remains invalid.

The transitive property doesn't apply to football, that doesn't mean that the other games don't deserve mention.
The B1G is the fourth best P5 conference and Wisconsin is a paper tiger, you're more than welcome to a dissenting opinion, but I'm not the one in the minority.

the simple fact is that to a nationwide selection committee ohio state is more desirable than tcu. if they were going to take ohio state, it should have been over fsu. to me personally, fsu is the weak link of the four and I think tcu would thump em. but getting a big10 team in ensures a lot of tv viewers.

I don't necessarily disagree with any of that.

RE: Who gets into 4 team playoff?
I do find it sad when the experts in Vegas projected TCU to be favorited in every possible matchup except against Alabama. But on a side note: Miss St. would have been favorited over Florida St.
I am projecting blowouts in both semifinal games. And then the committee will get ridiculed for not providing better matchups. However, if they would have stuck to last year's system I think they would of been fine and no argument could have been made since there was a clear #1 and #2.

Leaving out an undefeated defending national champion on a 27 game winning streak with an undefeated QB would have gone over like a turd in a punch bowl. I happen to agree with you that Oregon is better than FSU, which is precisely the problem with last year's system, I don't believe FSU would have been left out, so who is Bama or Oregon?

well you are right fsu is a media darling..every week when they eke out a win the media goes "wow what a game!" maybe they are so good that they just go through the motions until necessary and then do just what they need to get the win. maybe we will see some real butt stompin from them during the next two games..
