I thought Marshall was the favorite?
Which makes the choke all the more impressive.
We lost to Marshall by 3 at their place in the Championship Game. Vegas had us as 12.5 point underdogs. Could we have won it? Yes. Should we have? Who knows. A play here, a play there, and sure, we'd have won. That's a lot more than can be said of UL-L in it's OOC games this year. Just how many total beatdowns like the one's UL-L took from Tech, Ole Miss, and Boise would it take in a single year for you to be too embarrassed to talk smack to anyone? You should really wait until UL-L is at least competitive against the OOC FBS teams that you play before you talk about anyone "choking".

Oh Debbie, don't get all weepy on us. You guys had a great year, that's for sure. But you still choked away a win in the final minutes of the most important game of the year, a game you'd lead the entire way. And if you don't want to take my word for it, just read your own boards.

UAB, MTSU, Texas State, and Temple (If they win) will sit at home despite being bowl eligible. Such is life in the G5 level of FBS.
I think we could get the 7th place team in the MWC , Nevada 7-5 (4-4)

Its Nevada or Utah State. Fresno State will stay and play out west.
