How about this outcome for memphis & Cincy???
The SEC, in a move that blocks the BigXII from expanding east with its two best candidates, invites & accepts Memphis & Cincinatti to the first Super Power Conference .

The funny thing is, the SEC actually needs to add teams like Memphis and Cincinnati that can improve their basketball product and add one team to the east and one team to the west and
they would be adding two teams that can be some what competitive but not challenge the big dogs in football.

A third team from TN in the SEC? Good luck with that.

Memphis does nothing for the SEC -- they are surrounded by SEC programs. Cincinnati would make a little more sense, but I think the SEC is reluctant to add northern schools and they already have a strong presence here with UK. I think the SEC stays at 14 until they find a way to get into North Carolina and Virginia.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. They want NC State and VT which would also work in our favor except it won't happen soon enough.

Yup. That would be a win win. We fit in the ACC not the SEC or the Big XII.
