I can't help being but feel terrible for all those Blazers. Haven't been bowl eligible in a decade and now they won't get it because they are closing their door.

If they don't get an invite, would you give your bowl slot to UAB.

Particularly the Birmingham Bowl, since we have a tie in to their Home Stadium. One last game at home for them.

I don't think UAB Football players and coaches would want something given to them out of pity. They believed they have earned a right to play in a bowl game and if one is offered to them they will gladly accept it. They do appreciate all of the love that has been shown to them by so many people and programs from around the nation.

I feel strongly that you should at LEAST go .500 in conference play to go bowling.
Going bowling 6-6 with a losing record in conference play is ridiculous.
Arkansas went 2-6 in league play, UT, A&M and South Carolina went 3-5....as examples.
