i'm late chiming in, and i echo what you all have already said. last year, Lee would follow a 30+ point game with a 7 point game. i don't think he's that way any more. he seems like the consistent scorer that we had potential to be last year. that's a huge takeaway from this game.

one thing i noticed about Dayton's offense is they tried really hard to spread the zone farther out to make it easier to get the ball inside. there were 3 players standing 4-5 feet behind the arc passing it around until someone cut to the FT line to receive a pass. it was a good strategy, and i think if they had a better big guy they would have eaten us up for a lot more points.

I'd also like to suggest that opponents would rather see the C'use (er, EMU) zone in December then March OR if they have to see it in March they'd like a 'sneak peak' in December.

Dayton played 'Cuse in March (correct?) so they are getting good experience with this zone.
