Temple v Tulane
Tomorrow Temple plays at Tulane at 7:00pm on ESPN2. Lets root for Temple because if Tulane loses, we will at least salvage an 8th place finish in the AAC. Right now we have "lost" one more game than Tulane since they still have one to play, but if Tulane loses then both of us will have 6 losses and since we beat Tulane, we will finish ahead of them on the tiebreaker.

I know most of you could care less, but it IS our inaugural season in the AAC, so lets at least hope we're better than 3 teams in FB - SMU, UCONN and Tulane. Thats something to improve on - but at least we aren't those 3 teams under us.

IMO

RE: Temple v Tulane
Congratulations to SMU who wins their first game of the year. That is actually good for us since a UCONN win would open the possibility that we'd have a tie at the bottom of the AAC between UCONN, Tulane and TU with SMU in sole posession of 11th regardless of what happens in Philly. And since UCONN and TU didn't play and both with 6 losses and 2 wins (if they'd beaten SMU) then we'd have an 8th place "share" with UCONN. But now if Tulane gets beat at Temple tonite, we should be in 8th place outright.

I know that doesn't mean much right now, but anything positive to the kids holds some importance.

RE: Temple v Tulane
So UCONN should finish last with one win (against UCF of all people), SMU next at 10th with the UCONN tiebreaker and hopefully Tulane below us in 9th if they lose later.

There is an outside chance one of the 3 co-champs of the AAC - Memphis, Cincy or UCF could still go to a major New Years bowl if Boise St gets beaten by Fresno St. Hope so!
