Paul Doyle contacted the Commish about the story out of Nashville. Aresco had no comment. Someone else from the AAC dismissed the report. Story is starting to spread. I guess we'll find out soon enough if true.

No comment from AAC commissioner Mike Aresco on the Memphis/Cincinnati-to-Big 12 report. Another AAC source dismissed the story.

Must be a slow news week. I highly doubt anything happens.

There were reports for years out there that Memphis was a done deal to move to the Big East as early as 2007 or 2008. They didn't actually get the invite until 2012.

Even if there was leak out of the B12 office that its been settled that Memphis and Cincinnati are the next 2 in it could be YEARS before the B12 decides to act on it.
