Honestly both teams were better than us and it took pretty crazy comebacks to even get to the point where Ruff and his complete idiocy could cost us the game. So on the one hand we could have just easily gotten blown out in both, but on the other with a coach who had the math skills of an 8th grader we'd have won both.

We will pay the man, and extend his contract...he just seems like a guy who believes he can win a title...you cant do that at the G5 level.

Eventually a big name will come calling, and when it happens, Fuente will be the first Memphis coach in years to be hired away over being fired.

I just plan to enjoy the ride.

I Pretty much agree with you. ECU should be 10-2 right now. Although Cincy and UCF should some real character with their comebacks.

Cold weather games will always be something we struggle with. 80% of our team has never seen snow till they go to some of these games.

I don't like the co champion deal but I don't hate the winners for it. We may not have a ranked team in the AAC this year but we have three repeat bowl teams and two newcomers and one more bowl team compared to last year and that's counting da ville. There is definitely Ian improving conference and hopefully we will have a few make the top 25 after bowl season. The conference is getting better.

Except that's what was done in college football in the early days (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:1..._standings ). Not to mention ties were frequent all the way until the 1970s. Nowadays co-champions and ties are rare if not unheard of.

So which generation of college football had the "everyone wins" mantra, now?

If the Navy part of 'NavyKnight' was already in the AAC...it wouldn't be an issue.
