10+ Win AAC Teams
Last year saw the AAC with two 10+ win teams counting the bowl games. This year has the possibility of 3 10+ win teams if Cincy can get by a tough Houston team. It would be nice to see 3 teams with that accomplishment.
Only the MWC, of the G5, can match them, clearly separating the G5 conferences.

It's a tall order to expect UCF, Memphis, and Cincinnati to go 3-0 in bowl games (assuming they beat Houston in the first place).

Tall order, but I think we can do it....depending on our bowl matchups. Like he said...that would put us in pretty rare air...and might shut up conferences like lil ole CUSA from saying they are better than or equal to us.

I wonder if that would secure us 'best G5 conference' I think you get $$$ for that...

MW - Potential to have 4, 10+ win teams (BSU, CSU, Utah State and Air Force)
AAC - Potential to have 3, 10+ win teams (Cinci, UCF and Memphis)
C-USA - Potential to have 2, 10+ win teams (Marshall and La Tech)
MAC - Potential to have 1, 10+ win team (Northern Illinois)
Sunbelt - Potential to have 0, 10+ win teams (GA Southern potentially could if not ineligible for post season play. They have 9 wins now.)
If using # of wins as a guide, I don't think there's much separation of the G5 at all. Just a gradual increase. However, I don't think Straight # of wins can tell the whole story (ala Marshall).

I wish we scheduled a series with Boise.
It'd be great.

maybe not, but I am sure the P5 conferences looking to expand in the future would notice.

RE: 10+ Win AAC Teams
The top 6 teams in this conference are all as equal as it gets. A top 5 offense and top 5 defense. Clearly any team can beat any team, so imo this conference has the SEC west syndrome. A bunch of potential 10 win teams beating each other up. ECU minus 3 minutes is a 10 win team. UCF, Cincy and Memphis all are destined for 10 wins. I think the future is bright for the American if more than 1 team can win multiple P5 OOC games next year. The OOC is going to make or break our success every year.

Meh, CUSA had 3 10 win teams last year. It's more of an indication that there is a large gap between the top teams and the bottom teams in the conference. Four out of your 11 teams may end the season with less than 4 wins. Only 2 of cusa's 14 teams have less than 4, both finished 3-9.

My original intent was comparing this year's AAC to last year's, who was a BCS conference. Adding the last paragraph comparing the G5 conferences was an afterthought.
