Yes but that's one third of the budget there is at least another third donations and season tickets that will be affected by winning and losing so as MT said in his posts are horrible performances in football past few years plus also struggling in basketball has probably cost us something in the 3-5 million range. Nothing to jump us into the P5 range but you could say 5-10% of budget

On top of it, I believe that UCFs % of subsidy is around 55% whereas USF is closer to 40%. This is because their stadium and upgrades were partially paid for by a student fee. (I am not bashing, just making a statement).

More then likely when USF does start their OCS, we too will add a student fee and will also have an increase in revenue.

In all, with an OCS, Student fee and a return to semi normal numbers. (lets say a mid 30K average, USF will add back about $10 million into the revenue and be closer to the $60 million range.

So for teams like UCF, that $20M TV check every P5 team gets is basically the delta for the majority of P5 teams.

Add $20M and we're at $69M which would be in line with many "P5" programs. That's not factoring, of course, the expanded revenue that would be realized from simply playing a Big 12 or ACC schedule.

What's striking is the massive difference in revenues amongst the P5 itself. There are clear "haves and have notes" within most of those conferences.

All that money and yet Texas, Florida, and Michigan haven't put a team worth a damn on the field in multiple seasons now.
