If Football is not saved in early January we have turned USA into a Championship team.

How do they have so many open spots? Are these guys getting full scholarships or just spots on team? Ive wondered that with USA in particular since they've gotten the bulk of the players. Most FBS schools don't have lots of unused scholys laying around.

USA had something like 32 seniors. I am sure many of them have graduated thus clearing up roster spots now

Wow, replacing 32 seniors with seasoned players is a great deal for them. Damn, this situation really sucks.

Also, I expect that USA is banking on some of the UAB players counting on some of their 25 available spots for the upcoming NSD on Feb. 4th, 2015. This gives them the chance to be much more choosy about the true freshmen to be signed then (EX: they got two of UAB's top 3 QBs).

If I counted correctly, that makes 33 UAB players (counting Howard who will go somewhere when he chooses) (from post #1) of the 85 as of 12/29/14. How many underclassmen are left to make a transfer move this week or next?

All of them.

Whatever the heck 85 minus 33 is.

Arrington going to North Dakota is perhaps the oddest move of anyone so far. It's a long way from Pleasant Grove to UND
