Tigers in the NBA
Is this the most Memphis players in the NBA at one time?

Tarik Black
Joey Dorsey
Chris Douglas-Roberts
Shawne Williams
Derrick Rose
Tyreke Evans
Will Barton

And Elliot Williams, Adonis Thomas, Joe Jackson and Earl Barron in the D-League.

Wonder how many Memphians have been in the NBA at one time?

Tarik Black
Jarnell Stokes
Shawne Williams
Ian Clark
Thad Young

This is great, and I hope they all have a prosperous and productive long career. Penny Hardaway will be one of my favorites in the Post 1980 era. He had tremendous talent, and it was unfortunate he got shot in the foot before his first year in the NBA and had always been his Achilles Heel. But, he came back to Memphis and has been trying to help the future Memphis HS kids have a chance. He helps in Memphis a lot and has always been classy and not a media hog and complained.

Lmaoooooooooo Penny got shot before he played at Memphis. His NBA career was cut short because of a micro fracture of his knee. The shooting had nothing to do with that
