Alabama, Tennessee join Big 12 for rowing
Tulsa's move to the AAC causes rowing to move from C-USA to the Big 12:

The AAC also took Sacramento State and San Diego State, both of whom had been C-USA affiliates.

Wow. I don't like the idea of Alabama being in the Big 12 in any sport. Very interesting.

Would there be four more SEC schools capable of fielding a squad? It seems like it could be the fastest way to get men's soccer as a conference sport as well.

I'm thinking something like
Arkansas
Texas A&M
Missouri
Florida

Alabama and Tennessee then make six for rowing, and Kentucky and South Carolina make six for men's soccer.
