I wouldn't be surprise that Ray Watts will be fired in the near future by the BOT. It will make BOT look good and save their face to remove the poison the system.

Ehh... they've all made public statements that they support his decision. (We all already know that they not only supported it, they MADE IT)

If he gets the axe quickly enough UAB leaders could claim this decision was not in UABs best interest and essentially label Watts declaration that football was dead to be invalid.

I believe that's what we're trying to do with this "vote of no confidence thing!"

He's the fall guy. He is just too arrogant to realize it.

Ray is just dumb enough to not think he is the patsy.

UAB people obviously despise him with an overwhelming force. All he has left is the gratitude of some UAT people for doing their dirty work for them. I'll let others speculate what that gratitude is worth.
