He's just trolling. He knows Obama played no part in the declining price of gas, that it is in spite of Obama's policies..........

$2 gas = billions in equity vanished and thousands of jobs gone.

You poors that actually cheer on the drop in oil as an excuse to "go shop" should instead think about becoming 1 less of the 75% of Americans with zero savings.

What's the lowest price for gas anyone remembers? As a kid about 1972, I remember 36 cents a gallon when we filled up to go to a N.Y. Mets baseball game. I hope that memory is correct.

I also remember paying .89 in 1999. I drove a honda accord then and could fill that thing up for $10.

.28 a gallon for Super Shell 103 octane leaded fuel 1969 - 1972
.29 a gallon of Sunoco 260 104 octane leaded Fuel 1969 -1972
Used both of these to go cruising in My 1970 mach1 Mustang as well as heading out to the Drag Strip every Saturday night during good weather. $5.00 and You could cruise around all weekend long.

Yeah I remember those days. I had a '67 Pontiac Catalina 389, that got about 9 miles per gallon. I had a 60 mile daily commute, so still spent a relatively large amount of my income on gas.

By the way, if you take the $.28 and adjust for inflation would be $1.97 and we get about 2.5 times better mileage.

RE: $2 gas is here!
I remember 79 cents in 1997, but as a kid in the 80's I can remember my mom getting 50 cents worth of gas and would be able to drive me and my sister to my grandma's house in Shreveport, back to Doyline to work at the ammo plant, back to Shreveport to pick us up, and then back to Doyline to go home. That's a 130 mile round trip.

Debbie Downer.

Eh, it also means billions in extra spending money for millions of Americans.

Obama's fault when gas is $3.50, but Obama had nothing to do with it when gas is under $2. Got it. I think.

Ironic coming from King Troll.

I honestly don't remember it ever being that cheap back in the nineties. Best I remember is paying .95 in Corpus Christi back in spring break of 1995. I do remember paying around $3 during dessert storm.
