Trying to study the bowl tie-ins and backups makes my eyes bleed, so how do they come up with Temple and Pitt in New Orleans?

MWC is obviously trying to trade tie ins in order to keep their teams on the western part of the country.

Belt representatives better represent -
at the risk of hearing "We'd have won that one" from our conference champs.

I'm really dreading a rematch with NIU-they're running game will flat out run us over

At least against the falcons we wouldn't face much of a defense (as they are giving up nearly 33 points a game)

Sorry a 6-6 temple does not excite me. I could care less if they are in the American conference. I really was hoping for Airforce. Now Pitt I can live with.

Trust me, win by 40 and we'll hear, "we'd have won by 50". From what I can tell, it's in their genetic makup.

There's a push to get UAB in there. I can't think of many better ways to go out than in front of a Ragin Cajun crowd in New Orleans. I'd expect some of you to help me drown my sorrows. 03-drunk

It really is flattering how much you love talking about Ga Southern football.

That would be pretty awesome for the players and staff if they can get the NO Bid

that would be pretty sweet. And as much as I would be pulling for the conference to do well in bowls, I think I'd be pulling for UAB.

I would love to see UAB in this bowl, or any bowl really. Although, I would not want to be the team matched up against them. I wouldn't even want to imagine the passion a team would play with in it's last game.

RE: ESPN's Week 15 bowl picks
Georgia Southern and App State should create their own bowl game and play one another at a neutral site! Have it at Death Valley during winter break!

Obviously it could never happen. There's no fun staying home when your team wins the conference.
