If we do, I don't believe they're playing. Otherwise our three point defense wouldn't be so bad. Stetson was supposedly the heir apparent to Leroy, but then we signed Jerron Washington, who was supposed to be that type of player whose ball skills were a little better than Stetson. That obviously changed since Stetson is sitting out the season without a scholarship and Jerron, as yet, hasn't contributed much. It will be interesting to see how this all works out. The player that reminds me the most of Leroy and John, is J.T., but he's playing the point. I'm not saying he should be playing the three, although I guess that could be a possibility with Devonte at the point, but J.T. passes the eye test in this situation. Let's see. Devonte at the point, Josh at the two, J.T. at the three, Roger and James W. at four and five, which are interchangeable in our system. That would be an interesting combination. Not proposing it. Just thinking.

Not sure what a "shut down" defender does for you when you are playing against good teams. He can only guard 1 of the 5 players on the court. You need good "team" defense, as much as you need good team offense.

True, but one some teams one player keys the whole offense, and if he is taken even somewhat out of the equation, it forces the team out of rhythm.
