I don't believe Bruce would leave the SEC for the AAC the way it stands now.

At Memphis, Pearl would be one of the top 20 highest paid coaches in the country and could probably get to the Sweet 16 every year. He'll never achieve that at Auburn.

And he knows this. If we approach him with an offer, he'd leave Auburn in a minute. He knows they are a football school and he knows he'd be the King of this city in short order.
