So, fan response got the player's names on the jerseys. Can fan response get Pastner to start coaching well?

Attacks like this will not be received well by the board monitors.

"I would not appreciate my son or daughter playing somewhere where they didn't have their name on their jersey." That's kinda funny.

"Uh, yes, coach K, little Jimmy would love to play at Duke, but ONLY if you can guarantee his name will be on the back of his jersey. See to that and he's yours, ok?"

Lordy.

I don't want to look at a program, I want to watch the freakin' game.

Duke players do have their names on the jerseys.

Obviously I would know who my own kid was, but I would like for others to know he is, especially the casual basketball fan who is tuning in to watch.

Ok, I'll type slower so that you catch my drift. First, I am well aware Duke has names on the jerseys. Re-read my post. Second, my main point was that a fan with even a passing interest would likely check a roster BEFORE the season, maybe a few times, to learn the names of the players on the team. It wasn't difficult for me at all, and I believe you can do it, too.

If you have enough interest in knowing the players, you'll know the players, without having to rely on their jerseys.

I got your point, and by the tenth game I will know everyone. It just would have been nice not to have to research each player as they came in and out of the game. I don't know all of the faces yet.

And I've got your slow typing.....right here.

LOL...Seriously, I like that. Sorry if I came across too condescending.
