He was so cold. Like a flippant statue. Remove him at all costs. Is it only the faculty that can do that outside the board? Can Bentley (if he had a soul) fire him from the governor's office?

Thank you Ty and Tristen I broke down watching that. My heart hurts and we so appreciate what all you guys have done for the school.

The faculty can't even remove him. A vote of no confidence from the Faculty Senate, while usually fatal, is just a suggestion. The Board of Trustees and the Chancellor are the only people with the power to do what you suggest.

That man should not be allowed to sleep soundly until this is overturned and he's gone. Get me his home number and I volunteer to call every night to remind him of the lives he's ruined.

We may not be able to remove him, but we can make him want to leave. The ostracization (sp) of Ray Watts is about to begin. I hope every encounter of every day at UAB reminds him of today. He will decide that Brian Mackin was a genius to get out when he did. And he will do the same within a year. Because he has completed his mission.

He actually bought a $1.6 million house in Mountain Brook when he was hired as President. I don't think he lives at Woodward House.
