There's a push to get UAB in there. I can't think of many better ways to go out than in front of a Ragin Cajun crowd in New Orleans. I'd expect some of you to help me drown my sorrows. 03-drunk

I am NOT trying to be a dick when I ask this, so if you take offense, I legit apologize:

Who is pushing for UAB to go to the NOLA bowl? I thought you guys fired the AD and let the coaches go?

Temporary AD was named yesterday. The old AD is still on payroll for now as a special adviser to the President. Coaches' contracts are being honored, though I'm sure many will be gone by then.

I'm not saying it's a certainty by any means, but the administration did say the decision to accept any bowl bid would be made by the players.

at the risk of hearing "We'd have won that one" from our conference champs.

Trust me, win by 40 and we'll hear, "we'd have won by 50". From what I can tell, it's in their genetic makup.

I'm glad that you guys think about us so much. So much so that you want to bring us up in a thread that we aren't even a part of.

04-cheers

You guys aren't bowling this year?

It really is flattering how much you love talking about Ga Southern football.

Your best comeback would be, "we appreciate your continued interest in Georgia Southern athletics".

I do it all the time on a Tulane board I frequent whenever they tell me they have zero interest in the Sunbelt or the Cajuns but post stuff about the program before hardly anyone else knows.

It pisses 'em off to no end.03-lmfao

Rumors around BG is CUSA could broker a deal that would send WKU to New Orleans to play the Cajuns...

Another low-scoring defensive struggle.
