From Troy Nation to UAB Nation
Even though many Troy and UAB didn't quite get along and even though we loved to hate UAB, many of us hated seeing this happen. The rivalry that Troy and UAB had was great and was definitely one of the more passionate football games that both schools played every year.

I'm going to really miss playing you guys in football and going to Birmingham. It was one of the games I looked forward to each year and I always knew that no matter how good or bad one of our teams was, it was going to be a nail biter.

I hope that when that turd on UA's Board is gone, UAB will push to reinstate the football program. The fan support has shown itself this year. I believe it will only be a matter of time.

Good luck to all you Blazer Fans, and I hope we can at least play you in basketball again.
