FOX SPORTS OHIO BLACKOUT
This is the first season that I have had my Comcast cable showing a Cleveland CAV nba game over the uc bearcats basketball games. 3 TIMES now it has happened. IS it mainly because of Lebron James being back in Cleveland or is it the disrespect of the AAC? This will only hurt establishing more local fans to the program. I COMPLAINED to COMCAST about not providing an alternate feed channel. Consider your self lucky, satellite subscribers.

It's happened to me a couple times this year and ESPN3 is blacked out in my area.

Fox Sports OH insists on trying to push The NBA and Soccer down our throats.

I can no longer watch the NBA as it is mostly a bunch of hands up thugs. And soccer is only to be watch if it is the USA vs. any foreigners.

Dish is carrying the ballgame on 427 instead of the Cavs game in the Cincy area. Cavs regulated to alt. channel.

On DirecTV FSO pushed the Cavs game to the alternate channel.

There is no question where you should spend your money if you want to watch sports. Especially the Bearcats.

RE: FOX SPORTS OHIO BLACKOUT
I can't even care anymore. If the people who run UC can take the BS that the media companies put us through why should I care. Sterling was on WLW about 10 minutes after the TEMPLE game talking about politics. I don't even know if there was a pregame. 1480 had OSU on at 10am before the Umich game. WLW opens up half the time with OSU or Kentucky instead of UC.

I saw a bball game the other night that looked like a youtube video with a poor net connection. It was absolutely unwatchable.

Our people in the administration have to realize we don't have football or basketball problems but marketing problems. It's really sad. Probably the same clowns who strutted around during the Huggins years acting like they were geniuses because the Shoe was selling out.

God bless GoBearcats. I know they are trying and they do a nice job but somebody has to turn around the main media outlets.

So it looks like I'm not alone in having my carrier (Cincy Bell) trying to up-sell me in order to watch the local team. $20/month for the Tier they packaged FSO's alternate channel on, and I'd watch none of the additional channels except for on Bearcats' game nights. And the majority of the programming on the alternate is just FSO simulcast.

I have Cincinnati bell. They don't have the alternate channel in HD like TWC cable does. The picture is really poor.

Sorry to hear that. My sales guy didn't mention their FSOA wasn't HD. CB isn't good but I'll never deal with TWC again.

strangely, ESPN3 wasn't ever blacked out on my computer until this year. This stuff drives me nuts but like my old boss used to say, ' a very short drive, maybe just a putt for me'. haha

I definitely have to AGREE with you on that comment. Like most corporations, we're just a number to them.

Hell, quit complaining about the TV if you live in town. Come to the game. Seats are cheap and plentiful.

^^^ THIS! Fun game to be at tonight.

And "hands up thugs" is pretty much code for a word that should never be spoken.
