I am so unmotivated; decided to stay home and watch some other games; wanted to see Duke and Wisconsin; didn't want the drive from Lakeland.

I may check'em out later this month....

Some can sugar coat it all they want... but a crowd of maybe a couple thousand for a national broadcast speaks volumes. I've never seen the Forum so empty for a Tiger game.

Who we are playing means a lot to our fan base. But it also an early tip.

Terrible, but not unexpected. Very disappointing that these fans can't get behind the team. It's a new product, new team. Tigers fans are a very, very fair-weather bunch. When things go well, everyone's all in. When they struggle, they find other things to do.

A lot goes into being a "premiere" program in the country. Fan support is a big part of that.

An empty Forum is pretty embarrassing.

Um, ok...and the fact that the Tigers haven't had four blowout wins also plays a part. Probably the biggest part.

I think it has more to do with fans wanting a new leader for the program. We have all seen how it goes under Pastner. People are speaking with their wallets.

The subtraction from my bank account and the addition to University of Memphis SPEAKS for me...but haven't seen the HEART and DEFENSE I need to see...AAU like.

Wow. Looking at it on TV looks like it may be the worst crowd since the Tic/Jones era.

There are far too many "fans" rooting for failure, which is not the kind of fan base to be proud of, in my opinion. Hell, I'm sitting here in upper Michigan under tons of snow and 15 degrees, and I couldn't wait to turn this game on.

RE: Where Is The Crowd?
Well since everyone has an opinion, I think if we scheduled established & known BB competitive opposition - or UTK, OM or AR, we'd draw a good crowd, even though many of us (me included) don't want to play those 3 schools.

I'm here and the lower bowl looks very bad. I haven't seen it look this bad ever in this building. I wish that more fans were here. I hate seeing it this way.

RE: Where Is The Crowd?
I've seen US show up for no name teams when we have a team that looks like what we want to see...No shot at CJP or Team...just in memphis there is always something else to do when they're like they are this year...reality.

I'm not passionate about driving down there when I can watch it...and work from my home computer and check out other top games because I love basketball and I partial to Tigers when they play with that PRIDE...

I don't think anyone should be surprised. Pastner has lost the fan base, minus the few die hards that post here.

Man...He lost me three years ago...I NEVER SAW US HAVING AN IDENTITY..WHAT DO WE HANG OUR HAT ON?

It's NOT Defense and Rebounding
It's NOT Full Court Pressure
It's NOT speed and Hustle

CJP HAD A SLOGAN 6 YEARS AGO THAT HAS BEEN PROPHETIC..."Proper Preparation PREVENTS POOR PERFORMANCE"

If we're performing Poorly then what does CJP SAY IS THE PROBLEM?
