Stats
From looking at the stats, it looks like what we been saying about this being Shield's most talented team has come to fruition. We have balanced scoring and good guard play based on the stats. It's still early in the season, but hopefully the trend will continue.

One thing that pops out though is the reporting of actual attendance, we are averaging 799. Pappy, I'm sure that will throw your attendance tracking off. But I'm glad we are reporting actual instead of picking a number out of a bag that is not realistically true.

Finally, good numbers. I thought the UCA report was about right. And it was not a horrible crowd given a holiday weekend. But it should be a lot better with a little planning and advertising.

I thought the ASU at UCA game was played yesterday, on a Monday after the students had RETURNED from Thanksgiving Holiday. Not on a Saturday DURING Thanksgiving Holiday like our game against UCA. Given the more residential nature of the UCA campus, that could easily have accounted for the difference in attendance. But, you schedule these things as best you can.

I honestly think that James White is just learning how good he can be. As he becomes more aggressive, he can be almost a "score at will" player inside. (That is overstating it, of course, but I think he could be that sort of offensive weapon.)

And we are going to find out just how eager Belt players are to take charges when Roger Woods heads into the lane at full speed. And I do not recall us having had this many bona fide 3-point shooters.

RE: Stats
I didn't read the article. I don't even know where they played. I'm assuming it was in Conway the way some of the posts sound. What was the attendance? I've already thrown today's Democrap in the place where it belongs, the trash can. Actually it belongs in the commode, but they won't flush very well.
