I actually do follow Michigan...but a Louisville guy that lives in the City of Louisville...grew up a huge Anthony Carter/ Butch Woolfolk Fan.

Fun fact: RichRod named Coach of the year in the Pac-12 today.

I am rooting for UM to make more bad hires, selfishly. 04-cheers

I guess Schiano it is since Butch Jones and Harbaugh have already stated they aren't interested.

He has studied his craft in his year off and will be pretty good.
First step sign a JC QB Morris socks and that leaves a freshman and red shirt freshman. Beg Matteson to stay maybe keep Nussmeyer.

Schiano would do well at Michigan and he has strong recruiting ties to Florida...he recruited that State very well at Rutgers.

I like the fact he visited several college coaches learning from the best in the last year. Doing that says a lot about him after his college success getting an NFL job.

Brady Hoke has had one hell of an experience and would be a great grab as HC for some Mid Major or even a lesser name program in one of the Major Conferences. It was obvious though he was in way over his head at Michigan.

No surprise here.

Hopefully Michigan gets over the 'Michigan man' crap and finds a coach who can win.

The media has to get over the Michigan man crap.
Since Beiline has no ties to Michigan and that comment was about the basketball coaching situation.

Will Hoke go back to the MAC, another P5, or to the NFL?

I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole. It's one thing to be a bad coach, but the post morris concussion decisions really exposed him as someone who is simply incompetent to run an FBS program.

I understand what you are saying. I took situations like that into account before saying what I said.

When you are at a program like Michigan, you are under intense pressure to win. Your personal morals and ethics are put to an extreme test every day and these decisions can sometimes have to be made quickly.

I think he folded under that pressure. That doesn't mean he makes the same mistakes at a program with less pressure. He simply couldn't handle the pressure and made some bad decisions.

I am making these statements based upon interviews that I have seen him in and facial expressions upon his face while on the sidelines during the season. He was an obvious case of someone overwhelmed.

I knew he was going to be fired for sure when I saw him try to congratulate Gardner during the Ohio State game and Gardner walked right past him, leaving Hoke "hanging" with his hand out.

He was a weak leader who couldn't handle the pressure and all of the players knew it. He did just fine at SDSU though.

If they can't get Harbaugh or Miles, they should've given him one more year. His team this year was very, very young.
Of course, young teams can succeed though so maybe no.

But I don't see Harbaugh going to UofM as if the 49ers make the playoffs, by then it'll be mid-January, maybe even February. By then it'd be pushing it too late to get Harbaugh.

The thing is...IF they got Harbaugh interested, they would basically have to hand him the keys to running the show. If he was going to come there, he wouldn't want it announced till after the football season. Why? Because he is that damn competitive.

We shall see soon but if this process drags out, that would certainly indicate that Harbaugh may very well be the guy.

RE: ESPN: Brady Hoke Out at Michigan
Hoke was to nice I never seen him rip into a player.
He was a good recruiter and played a young team.
He could have burnt Speights redshirt and played Peppers vs OSU. He set the next coach up for success.

I would take Miles or Harbaugh but wouldn't wait for an answer.
They are both nutty as hell but good coaches .
