What we can do for UAB
All of us can call our AD's office. Tell them we support keeping UAB in the conference for all of their other sports.

I plan to call and email our AD about this.

What about an injunction? The people on the BOT doing this have to step down pretty soon don't they?

There is no point in annoying our AD about something we can do nothing about. UAB is done.

Send flowers to the funeral. Sorry, could not resist. It amazes me that people are talking about an legal action. What is there to litigate? What recruit or coach would want to go there? What player or coach would want to stay? Players are able to transfer immediately with no penalty. I imagine the NCAA will allow transfers similar to the PSU transfers to help the kids find programs.

You are right. And the ADs can do nothing about it. The requirement of Football is in the Conference ByLaws and has been since it was founded.

The ADs vote on whether UAB is allowed to stay in CUSA without football, so yes, something can be done.

Thats how I feel.

Also it would be different if UAB did not have a solid basketball program, but they do. It would be a win for everyone involved if we could keep them.

His point went over you're head. He's not suggesting to ask the ADs to try and keep UAB football alive. He wants to keep UAB in the conference which the ADs have direct control of.

I vote we send flowers to the funeral. We don't do hybrids here. That's NOT what ODU signed up for.

Watts is a slug. A real slime. That man did this, and CUSA doesn't owe him NOTHIN. He will live in infamy, as his teams play in HS gyms.
