I have been saying the same thing. HaHa

Hard to believe this team is better than the '10-'11 team. I guess we'll see. The '10-'11 team did hit a rough patch in December and January that included almost losing at home to a Towson team on a record losing streak.

Time will be able to tell us more, but I am not sure ODU has ever had a better pure athlete than Ross. It may well be that Trey Freeman is the best PG since Twardzik. That will take a few years to determine.

We are skilled, we are deep, we are disciplined, we can hit from the stripe, and most of all we play to our strengths. Personnel wise, this team lacks only a true quality big man to likely be extraordinary. In coaching and Xs and Os we lack nothing.

In any event, I am not sure about the players individually vs 2010/2011, but this team is better. This team is the best I have seen since at ODU since Sonny Allen's 1975 DivII NC and some subsequent Paul Webb teams.

Agreed. Springs, absolutely not. Overall skill set, Bazemore definitely takes it.

..but I said pure athlete, not skills. Ross seems to get better skill wise every game, so time will tell.
Plus, we are comparing a 2 to a 3 as far as skill sets. Not the same.

This is freaking awesome!!! Hope we keep winning so we stay in the Top 25 as long as possible. The exposure is great...both for recruiting and come Selection Sunday. If for some reason we have a hiccup in the conference tourney, being a long-term ranked team would really help our odds of an at-large bid.

That steal he had yesterday in the 2nd half was awesome. He jumped about 14 feet up and stole a lofted pass from the point guard. The look on the guys face was priceless....kind of like, "you're sh!tting me!"

I would bet that every recruit on our radar is getting a call or text today.
