Always cool when you run into somebody and they turn out to be nice. He's on my flight to Raleigh from Atlanta and was literally getting on the plane right in front of me. He still follows the program. He was like yeah they've got a big one Friday and i was like yeah hopefully it goes better than last year. He said it should and mentioned how they've slid by a few times this year and mentioned Western's 7 turnovers.

Really nice guy and I thought it was cool he still follows the program.

As well he should as he would be at least a legitimate candidate as a future head coach.

RE: Matt Canada
I actually think this is true for a lot of former coaches who have moved on to bigger and better things. Sure, they may not say so in public a lot, but guys like Canada, Narduzzi, Schafer, Pittman, even Fleck, got the chance to cut their teeth in the coaching ranks here, and I've never heard any of them have nothing but fond things to say about NIU. From what I've read, a lot of them made their way to the Orange Bowl.
