I dunno. I'm more optimistic about Memphis than I was a few days ago. Who knows, maybe it's a football spillover effect, but I think we'll have a good season.

Might as well my friend. Ride it for as long as you can! I was born in Forest City BTW.......Ironic, 2 guys from farmland German country in northern Iowa, and not arguing over Iowa, ISU or Minnesota and Wisconsin games.....How people from our little slice of the world even know ECU and Memphis have a football team?! Hahaha

I hope you are right, but the loss tonight at home makes Memphis look shaky, going forward.

Memphis looks like a dumpster fire right now. We have 2 really good players, one decent one and some terrible guard play. At best, we look like a middle of the pack AAC team. I see no better than 4-5th in the league and maybe an outside shot at an NIT birth

Some old Drake fans might remember. But I'm originally from Memphis anyway.
BTW--there used to be a Memphis fan from Clear Lake who posted on the Memphis board. Getting more OT--when I moved to Mason City, I ended up working with a former nun who had taught for years at a little Catholic school about a mile from my house in New Orleans. Small world. When I taught at Niacc and when Niacc had football, we had a player from Nola too.
