I know football is driving this bus...

JAMES MADISON - $37,522,548
When I think of "revenue", I think of ticket sales and TV monies. I think the above list includes student fees and state/school support so the above is misleading.

Good segment on Gameday regarding UAB's plight. I think people's eyes are opening to the inner workings and what really happened. Plus most of the country already despise the Crimson Menace anyway.

Neither student fees nor state support at Rice. I suspect it does include gifts, and Rice is like at $38M toward endowing athletic scholarships like Stanford ($100M goal), and very near announcing on a $30M+ fundraising goal for the football stadium.
Baseball is also a significant revenue source. $15 a ticket times 20 home games times >3,000 adds up, plus the Regionals and all the people (like me) who drop $20 on a burger, fries and beers during the game.
I don't doubt the Rice numbers. Also betting Rice, Southern Miss, UTEP, Marshall and UAB have contribution from AAC exit fees.

Now once the AACs contract is up....the AAC will be marketable for more money with a quality basketball conference. If they can get the per school dollars on the level of the Big East it wouldn't surprise me.
If the rumors about Cincinnati and Memphis to the Big 12 prove true, that would trigger a clause in the ESPN contract that could reopen the AAC contract. Could be a wild winter in G5 realignment.
I still cant believe nobody is scooping up UConn. I would think they would go before Memphis. If Cincy, UConn and Memphis leave, the CUSA is just as good as the AAC in all sports and the value of the AAC drops like a rock in basketball.
If I was the B12, I would go with Memphis and UConn to put basketball in the B12 on par with the ACC.
There is nothing they can do football wise to bolster their status.
