The conference championship is overrated and if the ACC gets their way we will see an FSU Clemson rematch most years.

Do away with the conference championship games and have a 12 team playoff. Division winners from p-5 plus two at-large. Top four get first round bys.

I would much rather see more inter-conference games than the same teams beating up on each other.

Fresno State/SDSU are the two most logical adds for B12. Adding CA would be a big move for the B12.

There a lot of scenarios this weekend that could show the CCGs will HURT conferences with them.

The only thing that CANNOT happen--in my opinion, as a fan of ALL college football--the Big 12 cannot get TWO teams into the CFP.

If Wiscy beats OSU ugly (15-13) and Arizona wins another shootout vs. OU (54-44)...we cannot have 1. Bama, 2. FSU, 3. TCU, 4. Baylor.

That would not be fair. That would be PENALIZING leagues with CCGs.

The 4 team model clearly does't work under the present conference setup. Either conferences need to get bigger and eliminate 1 of the p5 or the playoffs need to get bigger to include all p5 champs.
