Only way this is for an eastern spot is if USM wants to move east and MTSU & WKU want to move west.

Hard to make the decision on east/west with the Big12 potentially expanding. At the end of the day you have to take the best program available as long as the geography is reasonable.

The sec added Missouri to the Eastern division despite their western location. If CUSA added Ga State for example, would 145 miles from UAB/Birmingham really be a game changer?
