Favorite Thanksgiving Foods (+ Recipes)
Anyone have anything they love to make or eat each year? Anything you absolutely require be at the table?

And... if it's not a family secret, a recipe, perchance?

I can't stand turkey...

We're doing a honey baked ham, roasted chicken, and a bunch of different sides.

nice and easy, I don't see the point of working hard on a holiday.

To me, turkey is simply an accompaniment for dressing (cast iron skillet, cornbread, lots of sage).

Mac & cheese is also a veggie at our family's thanksgiving. I'm in charge of bringing that, and I made the sauce tonight....used 6 cups of sharp cheddar.

Sweet potato casserole

For the topping, warm the butter a few seconds in the wave, stir the topping ingredients together and then top. Cook @ 350 until the topping is good and crusty.

RE: Favorite Thanksgiving Foods (+ Recipes)
Same thing every year.

Burgundy Ham
Turkey
Dressing, made with home made biscuits and home made cornbread
Home made cranberry sauce
Scalloped potatoes
Bacon wrapped green beans
Sweet potato casserole
Pumpkin pie
Chocolate Chip cake
Rum Cake
Brandy Alexander ice cream

And my secret stash of Gentleman's Jack bourbon.

One extra Lipitor and I'll be fine.
