I have to say, these rankings are not too bad on the whole, they seem reasonable. The only exception I would say is someone please yank the Gophers out of the top 25. I mean they are a solid team and have overachieved, but a 4 loss Big 10 team has no business being ranked this year.

No. I mean, in any game there's a chance, but that running attack, whoa boy.

Sure it'd be great to get all the media hype for a big bowl, but I just don't think this is a team that can go in and pull of a big upset.

I find it very hard to believe that UW will get an at-large bid over another 2-loss or 1-loss non-playoff team, unless they beat Ohio State.

OSU did just lose their QB so that could be the explanation.

We haven't beat Wisconsin yet. They usually smoke us. But Northwestern did beat Wisconsin earlier this season. So not completely out of the realm.

We haven't beat Wisconsin yet. They usually smoke us. But Northwestern did beat Wisconsin earlier this season. So not completely out of the realm.

Given the fact that we are having a tough time stopping the run (minus WMU of course), having to stop the best RB in the nation would be....how do you say? problematic for us. haha.

Even if we don't go to the big bowl game, getting ranked would speak numbers.

We're 57th in YPC against. Not exactly elite, but I'd hardly say we're "having a tough time stopping the run."
