Great stuff. Looking at the stats, the game is so much different now.

Looking forward to a hard fought season finale.

I see Temple's offensive ineptitude dates back to 1935

Have programs always been expensive? We never buy them, but my older brothers tell me they could get a candy bar for a $.25-$.50 when they were young. Not so much by the time I came around. Love the graphics...still trying to wrap my head around stats. I'll get there one day. 02-13-banana

Thinking losing might be preferable so we don't have to go through the indignity of not being picked for a bowl again.

Looks like the Owls may not land a bowl even if they win. That suc. Beat and SEC team and top ten team... a bowl win would make this a pretty good season for the Owls.

Would HATE it for the owls if it comes to pass. But, looking ahead it would be a perfect storm.

Awesome stuff, TUCAL!

So strange to think that the Ivy League once dominated American football (2x4 game-officials).

I wouldn't be surprised if the Sugar Bowl game remains the highest scoring game in the series.

Everett Strupper was a famous All-American for John Heisman's Yellow Jackets. John Heisman coached against Pop Warner at one time and Warner coached Temple in the Sugar Bowl. Georgia Tech played Tulane this year. Huzzah for tenuous and contrived connections!

I have a great story relating to that fact. One of my closest friends from Catholic school, a Pitt fan (he is studying to become a priest) was shocked when I told him that the Ivy League (not organized at the time but still the teams) and Pitt use to dominate football. He wouldn't believe me so I bought in my crown jewel of my ESPN CFB encyclopedia to show him. No wonder, he couldn't convert me from Methodism to Catholicism! He didn't know enough about football.

Knute Rockne was once asked where he learned about football. He replied "Yale. All football comes from Yale."

I read a variation of that quote where he substituted the word "Camp" because of Walter Camp instead of Yale. Those two were practically the same anyways!
