If the access bowl miracle doesn't happen for us, is it possible we push to play in our backup bowl agreement with Detroit against the bowl bound 6-6 Illini???

6-6 Illinois would be a shame to play! That's saying congrats on a good season play this .500 team

It would be great to play Illinois but it looks like the B1G and ACC will fill the Detroit slots.

The MAC will not have a team in Detroit. It will likely be UofI vs Pitt.

Looks like UAB's football program will be shutting down before bowl season starts...so that will remove one bowl eligible team. That really sucks for the UAB players, I'm sure someone knows more about this situation than I do, but i'm guessing this won't be the last team to do this.

I'm glad this thread isn't about a plumbing issue.

Notice they have a stub RB and an OT 6'6 324 starters with -2- years of eligibility remaining. Would love to find a WR with wheels somewhere.

Sounds so shady/****** for all the players, donors and coaches that have put in so many hours of their time for that program. Gotta think the NCAA would work with the students for immediate playing time at other schools. This is something they can't control.

No question on eligibility...it's black and white on the ncaa rules. Semisch and Gordon come to mind as well as Penn st.

They allowed the players to play immediately from Penn state. Not sure if you were agreeing with what I said.

I just realized that if we play South Alabama in the godaddy bowl, like everyone is projecting. Then we will be playing the game on South Alabama's home field haha. good times.

They would be immediately eligible due to it not being in their control.
