RE: Justin Fuente- Post Game Press Conference.
Fuente has over-achieved. His facilities are, at best, on par with the middle to lower tier of the AAC. The situation he inherited... a true dumpster fire. The fan support at all time lows, and the media coverage, marginal.

Pastner, on the other hand, is on the opposite end of the spectrum. His program has the best facilties in his conference (AAC). He inherited a program that spent triple the money on basketball as its former conference mates. His leanest teams had more High school all Americans than the rest of CUSA combined. I think some Tiger fans understandably wonder where the BB program would be under the direction of a leader like Fuente.

Great post.

I think most of us get the distinction. But a lot of folks here don't want to put any expectations on Pastner or acknowledge all the advantages he has because that would mean admitting to the fact that he's underachieved.

You could have started and stopped at " that was amazing." I know you love our BB but this was Tiger FB's One Shining Moment.

Thanks

We were watching him yesterday and noticed how he was already planning the next play when Malone caught that first TD pass. Coaching is so important with the short time in between plays in football.

Let's not turn this into a dump on Pastner thread. Look, I'm not happy with the guy either, but let's focus on the subject at hand.

I bet the folks here that want Josh gone could all get together and raise the money for the buyout. Who's first?

I'm betting probably as many times as you see the getting rid of Coach Pastner posts

Criticize some on court performances and scheduling sure...but...using Fuente too assault Pastner for class and the like?

Please.

Our football facilities are much, much better than some are giving them credit for. Before you criticize our facilities, please, wander onto the South Campus and see for yourself.

I bet - no, guarantee- that several our biggest boosters aren't happy either.

I also bet they have something else much more important to worry about right now.
