8 bowl eligible cusa teams
Need the FN bowl watch to confirm that we get a bid with a win today?

All 7+ win teams get priority over 6 win for C-USA tie-in bowls. But anyother bowls can pick us if their tie-in teams don't get eligible.

ODU won't get a bid. We need Hawaii to beat Fresno State, Oregon to beat Oregon St, Oklahoma to beat OK St, and BYU to beat Cal. That would open up more spots. We still have a shot. Also wouldn't hurt for UTEP to beat MTSU. We may be more attractive that the Raiders since we have had better attendance

HEEEEEEEERE'S THE RUNDOWN!!
Fresno beat Hawaii, but they had a valiant 4th Quarter comeback effort!
Oregon did beat O-State, but like the Beavers ever stood a chance.
Oklahoma vs. Ok-state: we have to wait until Dec. 6 for that one.
BYU beat CAL!!
And finally, UTEP beat Middle. Hopefully that is true about them having worse attendance than us making us more attractive! Plus, we likes our beers!
So that's 3 up, 1 down, and 1 still pending. I'd say our bowl chances are still solid.

When the CFP rankings come out Tuesday, we'll reset and see where any possible openings might be.
The best chances for us are:
Armed Forces Bowl (OSU must lose to Oklahoma)
Independence Bowl possible opening (but 4 SEC teams must make CFP bowls). Ole Miss winning was great toward that cause, but Georgia's loss didn't help. Probably going to be just 3, which means that all SEC slots are taken.

Sucks that we could get left out, but it is good to see the conference with a strong showing having so many bowl eligible teams.
