Is this the same Utah State team that we could do nothing against and Boise has a quick 14 points? I still think a MWC team is going to get the bid.

Does everyone honestly want to see us play in the access bowl this year? I mean, I love this year's team...the determination, grit, and heart they have is great.

That said, I don't think I want to see drew hare playing on national TV against a quality P5 defense. We had one of the best players in college football history in Lynch, and we couldn't get it done in a big bowl. I'm just afraid if we end up there this year (which seems unlikely at the moment), it would be too ugly to tolerate.

It was more about playing on the big stage....not on ESPNews against the Sun Belt runner up. or whatever channel it will be on.

That's what I'm saying though. If we had a team that I thought could be competitive on the big stage (like 2012) I would be all about it. We just don't have that kind of team this year.

You are right. This team should not be on any kind of national stage. You guys are laughing at Utah State, which is just what the country would be doing to NIU. Don't want another pummeling.

If Boise loses in the MWC Title game, we're in business. Tonight wasn't the end all be all.

DUDE...I don't care if we get our doors blown off, you always take playing on the big stage...you can't put a dollar value on the press, publicity, name recognition and boost in recruiting....saying you'd prefer to play against georgia southern vs. a top 25 team in prime time is illogical....
